Could The Laceration On Head Cause The Swelling In Eyes?
A heavy object fell on my forehead on Tuesday. I had a laceration and had to get stitches. The cut is clean. There is not a knot on my head but the swelling is down in my eyes. Is that normal? Also, I have had a fluttering in my chest, not painful. I do have mitral valve prolapse.

It seems from the history that you had a laceration to the forehead following fall of heavy object. This has caused swelling of the eyes.
It is normal to found swelling of the eyelids in case of injuries to the head above the eyes. This is because of continuity of the layers of eye lids with layers of skin of the forehead.
The treatment is by anti-inflammatory drugs and cold compress.
