Could The Melatonin Have Created AFIB?

Hi,

I take all of the following BP medications, and have recently added a nightly 3mg melatonin supplement due to insomnia and some of the side effects of the following BP meds: catapres-3-patch, enalapril, labetelol, HCTZ, diovan, amlodipine.

Last night after my final nightly round of BP meds and the melatonin, I became extremely drozzy and went to bed. Then my heartbeats really increased in intensity all night long. I woke several times, and then at 6:00 a.m. I realized that I was having serious, very erratic atrial fibrillation. Could the melatonin have created this episode of AFIB -- as well as my recent previous AFIB episode on 02-25-11? As of this moment, I have been experience AFIB since 6:00 a.m. and it is now 1:26 p.m. PT.
