i had pain on my right hand wrist for over a years already but lately it kinda disturb me as i am a student of office management that deals with typing. lately i have been felt pain on my right hand wrist. i went to the hospital and the doctor said that i had carpal tunnel syntom but they didnt see anything on my x ray result. doctor gave me only only painkiller and paracetamol, right after that my hand started to swollen. my question is is it it a part of carpal tunnel syntom?
Thanks for query on HCM. Swelling indicates some pressure symptom on the circulatory system. It usually occurs in carpel tunnel syndrome. Treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome is based on the seriousness of the condition. If treated early, carpal tunnel symptoms usually go away with nonsurgical treatment with medicines like nsaid, muscle relaxant, physiotherapy, vitamins, mineral supplements. Surgery is sometimes recommended when other treatment has not helped. Keep in touch with your doctor.
