Could The Pain In Left Rib Cage Be Arthritis?

I have a pain in the left of my left rib cage. Occasionally the pain goes around to the front side. If I do not do much walking or lifting it is OK. But I do walk a lot and carrying on week days. I baby sit my 5 1/2 month old daughter 5 days a week. My question is could it be arthritis or otherwise. Thank you.
