Could The Swelling And Pain In Knees Be Due To Lymes Disease?

summer 2006 I was bitten by a tick in Sweden.Bull's eye behind knee. got treated in NZ 4 weeks after bite. 2 weeks of antibiotica....2008 I am diagnosed with Polymyalgia and given prednisone. very achy and prednisone helped. still on it. now 5 mg. crp varies between 24 - 14.
i have had baker's cysts in both knees and calf muscles and now again bot of knees tremendously achy , hard to move and very swollen both in on sides and behind as well as just below knees. Crp only 14. i now wonder if i have lymes and not poly myalgia..or perhaps both. do not want to continue with prednisone much longer.
