Could The Swollen And Inflamed Lump Under The Breast Be Sebaceous Cyst?
may breast ultra sound showed a solid mass with blood flow to it. It is palpable but was inflammed and sore a couple weeks before the ultrasound but not any more do have need to be concerned could it just be a sebaceous cyst do they have blood flow to them.
Hi,Dear, Thanks for the query to HCM. I studied your problem in depth and I understood your concerns. Cause of solid lump below breast - This lump seems to be fibroadenoma with blood flow and tender sore mass due to surrounding adenosis . Possibility of sebaceous cyst is not there,as the Usg showed solid tumour and not the cystic tumour. And for the sebaceous cyst blood flow would not have increased and its USG appearence would have been of Cystic swelling, and hence possibility of it being sebaceous cyst is not there. I would suggest consultation with ER Surgeon. So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you, but just ask a query to HCM and be comfortable to resolve your health issues. Welcome for any more query in this regard to HCM. Write good resume and Click thanks if you feel satisfied with my advise. Have a Good Day. Dr.Savaskar M.N.
