Could The Swollen Lymph Node Be Due To TD Shot Taken For A Dog Bite And Having A History Of Breast Cancer And Mastectomy?
I got bit by a dog on 12-13-13 and got TD shot the same day in left arm along with antbiotics. 2days later I noticed my left side of neck was very sore with swollen lymph node. Now I am a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in 2003 on left side and had double mastectomy in 2004. Along with no problems at all. Could this swollen lymph node be due to TD shot ? because knot was not there before shot was given
hi welcome to hcm i have gone through your query and concerned about youir problem that swelling might not be due to td shot but as you are a cancer survivor iwould advice you to visit your oncologist whether it might be a lymph node swelling it might be as simple as simple infection/cyst or metastasis so if it is not subsided by taking antibiotics i would advise you to visit your oncologist
