Could The White Scaly Like Pattern On Inner Part Of My Vaginal Lips A Symptom Of STD?

I have a question and sorry in advance for all the detail! So I was putting a tampon in tonight and for some reason decided to get a closer look at my vagina. I kind of spread my vagina lips and noticed a strange whiteish scaley like pattern one inner part of my vagina lips. There not really raised bumps, maybe ever so slightly, their more like part of the skin texture. I dont think it looked like this before, but I could be wrong. I wouldve never known about it if I didn't look tonight because there's no itch, odor, or discharge. You would never be able to see it either if I didn't spread my vaginal lips. Ive had yeast infections and uti's before but I can't tell if its that or not because my vagina never itched or burned for any of those. I'm just concerned only because there's no symptoms. Its just it looks when I spread it, you can't tell just looking at my vagina. The texture feels normal too, the skin feels pretty normal as usual. Could it be an STD? I've been with the same guy for 6 years and I've never cheated on him. I don't have sex often and I'm like 99% sure he's never cheated either. But now I'm concerned just because I don't know what it is. I need some advice! I'm also on anxiety medicine so I dont know if that could have anything to do with it. Need some help please

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern on HCM

Seems to be candidal infection of the vagina: Candidal vulvovaginitis (whitish curdy discharge on vaginal walls).

I would advice that you visit a dermatologist or a gynecologist who would be able to confirm clinically and also by a wet mount preparation in lab.

Itching is subjective in patients. Anyways mild infections usually don't itch that much.

Since you have been having recurrent yeast infections in the past i would advice you to kindly get a blood sugar test as well.

Treatment is simple for candidal vulvovaginitis: i usually ask my patients to use clotrimazole pessary daily night for a week.

Oral treatment with antifungals is an alternative especially if its recurrent.

take care
regards
