Could There Any Problem With The Pancreas Having Often Hiccups And Excruciating Pain In Right Shoulder Blade?

I had a VSG in June 2010 and have had an increase in sugar intake over the year. I ve started to get the hiccups often, and they are pretty severe. I m also experiencing excruciating pain in my right shoulder blade. Should I be worried that this has something to do with my pancreas?

Hi and welcome to HCM Thanks for the query.
it can be related to pancreas but more commonly this is galllbladder issue so you should rule these 2 first. Hiccups are usually sign of gastritis and stomach issue but also heart disease and lung disease can be underlying cause. you need more detailed work up to check all these organs.
Wish you good health. Regards
