Could Tubal Sterilization Lead To Swelling In Foot And Sharp Pain, Also, Had Taken Motrin Tablets?
Hi. My name is Ashley and this morning at 11 am I had a tubal sterilization. This evening around 11:30 pm I was feeding my 3 month old baby and had my left foot under my right thigh. Like a half Indian style sit. Anyways, I was sitting there for maybe 10 mins and all of a sudden I started to get a really bad pain in my foot. My veins started to swell and it was a sharp pain. I called the hospital I had it done at, and I was transferred to 3 different departments and no one would answer my question. I don't know if this matter but I did take a motrin 800mg tablet right before it happened too. Should I go to the ER and have this checked out, or can I wait until morning and call my doctor?
I have studied your case and its looks like that your foot remain compressed under your body in a wrong position and it caused pain and prominent veins. It is not related to motrin tablet. and if pain is not severe than no need to rush to ER right now. You can apply a ointment over foot like diclofenec ointment. If thing does not improve till tomorrow than you can showin ER.
