How Long Does One Bleed After Having Essure Coils?
Hi, my name is Ali, I had the Essure procedure done yesterday. I am 24, 145lbs, no allergies to anything and very sporadic periods. I haven't had an actual period in about 2 years. (I've had 2 kids in that time and not one period between). I was wondering how long am I supposed to bleed after having the Essure coils placed?

Hi,
Mild bleeding may be there after insertion of Essure. It will last for couple of days and stop. If the bleeding continues or it becomes heavy associated with any pain abdomen you need to consult your doctor immediately.
