Could Umbilical Cord Wrapped Around Neck During Birth Cause Brain Damage Leading To Migraine ?

During my birth, the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck long enough to cause me to be born blue, but not so long that I required any intervention after the cord was removed. Could that have caused permanent brain damage leading to my current migraine. They started when I was about 9, I an now 37.

Hi
Welcome to Health care magic

I went through the history you have provided here.
It seems from the history that you are having chronic migraines since childhood.
This is not related to the umblical cord wrapping which happened during delivery.
Migraine is a primary headache and can be treated by the use of prophylactic drugs like flunarizine.
Do consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you for writing to us.
