Is this because of the urine infection or not ... please answer my query
uti and menstrual irregularities r two different entities and usually not related to each other unless u have endometriosis. Since u hv recentlr developed menstrual abnormality, endometriosis looks unlikely. For recurrent UTI, u need to treat it with full course of culture sensitive antibiotic and stay on low dose of same antibiotic for long term may be 3 months. This will delay the recurrence of uti. At the same time, as u had ureter block in the past , get ultrasound to rule out hydronephrosis in kidney of the same side. If it is there it has to be taken care of as in the past. Also if u r diabetic, take care of it, as diabetics r prone to infection. For menstrual problems kindly consult gynecologist.
