Could Vaginal Bleeding During First Trimester Of Pregnancy Be Due To Miscarriage?

My wife 3month pregnent.from last 3 days bleeding start heavily.doctor give proloton depot and many other injectons.but now bleeding is slow from earliar.yesterday after usg doctor say my baby is all right.but I am in tension because bleeding not stop.so plese tell me.if there is a risk of miscarriage

I share your concerns and your concerns are true. There is a chance of miscarriage when there is heavy bleeding in any trimester. First trimester is most crucial. Other cause of bleeding in this case could be low lying placenta, infections in vagina or cervix, injury to cervix.

However if your doctor has confirmed that your baby is safe, then breath easy. There might be some other causes which I have mentioned. But remain alert, and if bleeding increases rush to your doctor immediately.
