Could Vaginal Bleeding Post Protected Sex Be Due To Cervical Tear?

I had protected sex 2 days ago and I am bleeding continuously. The sex didn t hurt but was kind of rough. I am not on any birth control, and we checked the condom and there were no breaks. My period isn t due for another 2 weeks. If it is a cervical tear, will it heal on its own, or is there anything I can do to make it better. I feel a little woozy and weak. Any feedback would be great, thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome.

Thank You for Your Query

According to the history provided by you,I am pretty sure that would be a cervical tear,or may be any sort of injury for e.g. small cuts to your vaginal mucosa.
you need to get it examined by your gynaecologist asap,to check the severity of the problem.
some minor cuts heal on their own,but few require suturing as well.
the cause for your weakness,is the blood loss, caused by the same.

Thank you.
Stay Healthy.
