Could Varicose Veins And Swelling Of Ankles Be Related?
My right ankle keeps swelling up through the day and it has now started to itch. I also have a red rash on both legs coming up to my knees. I do have a few varicose veins in the back of my knee joint and I ve tried support knee socks but they must bruise my leg at the knee and make my legs very hot.

Yes, ankle swelling and varicose veins are interconnected. Due to varicose veins, there will be disrupted vascular supply and venous return. Using knee brace is not advised in varicose veins as this may lead to compression of the blood vessels.
