Could Viral Meningitis Cause Memory Problems, Low Sex Drive And Confusion?
Hi i was in the hospital for what the dictors belive was viral meningitis seems after that though i itch, hurt and don t want sex. idk if it has anything ti do with VM. According to my dictor my memory problems, having trouble talking in sentences also words that used to be easy to read is hard now.....she says its going to happen bc of the VM but i haven t asked her about my pussy problems
As per my clinical experience, the memory problems, low sex drive and confusion are in concern with effect over major controlling areas of the brain as hippocampus and subthalamic nuclei via alterations in dopamine and other neuro-transmitters.
However, if you can provide plates of your brain MRI or perfusion scan showing particular areas of low circulation, can help to define further the underlying defect and guide accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
