Could Vision Be Affected Due To Macular Degeneration Hence Possible TIA?
My mother is 91 and has macular degeneration , Her sight is poor . Today she had an episode where all of a sudden she saw red, purple and squiggles , and shapes . she was unable to see anything . She also had pain on both sides of her head as well as being more wobbly than usual . She said it lasted about 2 hours and was perfectly fine after . I suspected a TIA , I am calling the family doctor in the morning however she is scheduled to have her calcium infusion tomorrow . Is it possible this may just be her eyes ?
