Could Wrist Injury Causing Inflammation Be Due To Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Yes....if you can....I fell back in November 2009 and messes up my wrist pretty good..no breaks, just everything else....Jan 2010 I had an MRI and there was still a lot of inflammation that they couldn't see enough...now work. comp is saying that I had rheumatoid arthritis and that's why it's not healing (that's how much inflammation was in the MRI)...I've never had any problems with this wrist or hand, ....is this possible?
