Could Yellow Vaginal Discharge Be Due To The Healed Bartholin Cyst?
I have a bartholins cyst which burst about 10days ago. I had antibiotics which finished 2 days ago. I have just found out that I m pregnant. Today I leaked creamy/slightly yellow discharge (teaspoon amount) then watery liquid. Is this because the cyst hasn t healed over? And it needs looking at again by doctor now I ve finished the antibiotics or is this a problem with the pregnancy? (About 6weeks pregnant)
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Yellow vaginal discharge followed by fluid discharge on treatment with antibiotics for Bartholin's cyst indicates that the infection may be cleared but might not have been cured completely. Since you are telling you are pregnant, it would be advisable to get yourself examined once by the Gynecologist to make sure it is completely cleared so that it would not cause problems later. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
