Cramps, Light Period, Bloating. Faint Positive On HPT. What Is It?

I had a faint positive on a hpt on 2/4/13. I started cramping later that day and by that evening had started my period. Today my period stopped and I am still having cramps and bloating . Normally I have a regular 28 day cycle and a 5-6 day period. Do I need to do another hpt or did I have a chemical pregnancy and this is normal?

OBGYN 's  Response
Get a sonography done to rule out ectopic pregnancy that is pregnancy outside the uterus as a faint positive HPT and light period suggests that,or the other possibility can be chemical pregnancy, for that also sonography is necessary. See your doctor with the report as soon as possible. Take care
