Cyst On Ovary, Painful. Had Partial Hysterectomy, Scheduling Surgery. Will It Rupture?
my name is Beth I am 50 yrs old and had a partial hystorctomy I now have a 7.7 cm cyst on my right ovary I am getting run around from the doctors and scheduling surgery. Is there a possibilty it will rupture? I am scared to deat and in extreme pain every day... I know they are common but it is so painful. but will it rupture? thank you
The possibility of the rupture of cyst depends on: -Size of the cyst -Content in the cyst -Physical activity of the person etc. So you plan for surgery as early as possible. And be in rest, avoid physical activity till the surgery date. You can take pain killers for symptomatic treatment. You can go for CT scan and ca 125 levels with your doctor's advice to know the exact nature of the cyst.
