Hi, what do a cytology report like this means: Specimen is paucicellular and limited to scant delicate fatty tissue like fragments, several smudged nuclei and some proteinaceous fluid material. No diagnostic cells seen. with a comment of: recommended clinical and additional samplingif suspecting neoplasm . Many anucleate squames are present in the slide preparation and are probably contaminants.

this is a typical report when there is no conclusive tissue specimen is sent for Hpe,where was the specimen taken from and what was the original complaint is important to know whether to do a rebiopsy....
