Had Tonsillectomy, White Tissue Disappearing. Is It Scar Tissue?

I am 65 yr old female and had tonsillectomy on Sep 24. The healing is progressing with white tissue gradually disappearing, however I have noticed that there is a string of tissue hanging from top to bottom on left side of tonsil area. I can see through it. Is it scar tissue? Will it go away eventually? Does it need to be removed? Could it cause problems if not removed?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having severe upper respiratory tract infection.
As you started antibiotic, wait for 1-2 days more to start its effect.
Once your infection starts subsiding, you will get good relief after 2-3 days.
Continue with cough syrup.
Do salt water gargles.
Ok and take care.
