Dark Spot On Scrotum, No Trauma, No Problem Ejaculating, No Swelling. Causes For Dark Spot?
Hi, my boyfriend has recently found a dark spot on his scrotum and he is worried about it so I was wondering if you could please tell me any possible causes. There has been no trauma that we no of, no problems with ejaculating, and no pain or swelling just the purplish color and it is not too large, just about the size of a dime. Thank you for your time
hello arielle,
A recent onset of a pigmented spot on the scrotum should not be ignored. Its always get it evaluated so that the doubts are cleared.
A long standing mole or pigmented lesion which recently has changed in colour/size/shape/painful is also a cause of concern. However presuming that the lesion you are mentioning is of recent onset i would recommend your boyfriend gets examined by a dermatologist/surgeon.A biopsy may also be indicated.
All the best
