Dark, Very Tiny Small Brown Spots In Private Area, Little Bleeding. Suggestions?
The other day i noticed i have 3 very small brown spots in my private area that have not been there before. They do look similar to a freckle but they are much darker and very tiny. I thought maybe they were ingrown hairs because when i try to release the hair they do bleed a little. They dont bother me in any way as in hurting or burning they just annoy me because i know they are there. Any suggestions as to what they may be? I think if they were an STD they would be bothersome and more in the vaginal area which these are not.
You did not mention your age. Some women notice these freckle like spots as they grow older. It can also be because of heredity or sun exposure. But since you mentioned that they bleed on touch, I would suggest that you go and meet your gynecologist nevertheless. Just to rule out any medical condition. They may take a biopsy of the lesion and then assess if you also need to get other test done ,like a pap smear or so.
