Dear Doctor, I Am 29 Yrs, 162 Cms In Height

Dear Doctor,
I am 29 yrs, 162 cms in height and weigh 45 kgs. My period cycle is regular. We have been trying for a baby for a year. i have been taking Folic acid for the last 04 months. Our doctor suggested Ovulation monitoring from day 10. Endometrium lining was thin only at 5.1 mm on the 11th day so the Doctor prescribed Progynova 2mg. Endometrium thickness rose to 9.0 mm on the 14th day and ovulation occurred on the same day. Then i was asked to take Duphaston from the 15th day onwards and do the HCG test when i skip my periods. The HCG test was positive on the day i skipped my periods and i have been asked to continue with Duphaston 10 mg and Folic acid 5 mg regularly.
I would like to know whether is it SAFE to continue Duphaston for prolonged time (inspite of first pregnancy and no history of miscarriage)??

Is Duphaston actually needed, then for how long should i continue with it?
Should i check for any hormonal deficiencies in me now??
Is there any precautions that i should take??
