(#32 is a lower right wisdom tooth. The upper right molars are teeth #1 - 3, with #1 being the wisdom tooth.)
The roots of maxillary (upper jaw) can lie in close proximity to your maxillary
sinus. It is possible that your maxillary sinus was perforated during the extraction. Although not incredibly common, it can, and does happen. Usually, I will prescribe an antibiotic and an over-the-counter decongestant. It sounds like you are already on one antibiotic but that it might not be effective. I would recommend returning to your
dentist and seeing if he will prescribe you a different antibiotic. Antibiotics kill certain types of bacteria and every one has a different profile. By trying a different type, it might be more effective that the Clinamycin.
The pain in your ear may be infection related. It can also be from the trauma of having the extraction. You had injections in that area and your muscles were open for a long time. All of those factors can contribute to your symptoms.
There is also the chance that you may have a
dry socket. The best treatment would be to return to your dentist for an evaluation. If you do have a dry socket, he can place medicine in it that can relieve the pain.
