Deep Breath Issue. Lungs Not Expanding Enough. Phobic To Death. Help?

For some reason, I don t know if it s my psyche or not. But, I feel as though I am taking too many deep breathes and that my chest at times is not expandas it should. Then when I sleep at night, I have a phobia that I am not going to wake up because of the phobia of not knowing what s going on. I run about 18 to 20 miles a week as well as workout 4 times a week. Is there a problem? DENK

hi i had gone through your query and understand your concerns. i would come up with two possibilities

1.the first one include,PSYCHOGENIC DYSPNOEA ;it is only functional condition due to psychological imbalance.

there is no underlying pathology.

2.second possibility is,CARDIAC DYSPNOEA;ec,echo, treadmill test may confirm the diagnosis.

other possible conditions

anemia
COPD
allergy

I hope this is helpful for you, thank you
