Deep Pain In Throat, Lungs And Chest. Tests Showed A Leaking Heart. What Could This Be?
When I walk a little faster than usual or do something like vacuuming I get a deep hurting pain from the bottom of my throat, all in through my lung and chest area and I feel like I can't breath. I had a test where I was on a tredmill and then placed on a guerny and attached with sensor monitors and I saw my heart pumping but some of the blood was flowing backwards. I was told I had a leaking heart. My heart looked like it was really laboring to pump the blood through. Can this cause my heart to dangerously enlarge and why can't I breath?
Hi, I share your concern. Your information is quite incomplete. I don't know you age, blood pressure etc. As far I could gather your problem, You are probably having A left sided valve leakage, likely to be aortic valve regurgitation with symtomps of left sided ventricular dysfunction. You need to be assessed clinically, with prescription of some antifailure medication including medications to increse urination. You also need to restrict salt and water. An echocardiography with color doppler can better assess your problem. I would recommend you to consult a cardiologist at the earliest. hope your problem will be solved.
