Delayed Periods. Light Spotting Followed By Light White And Thick Discharge. Increased Appetite. Pregnancy Test Negative. Opinion?

i have been having sex atlist evry week for the past one month and know i am two weeks 4 days past my periods. i took two pregnacy tests at diffrebt times and they both came out negative. in the first week i was supposed to have my period, i had some light sporting in my discharge en a few days after it stopped. the followin week i stated having a light discharge but as days went it changed to very white and thick and also som pain in my back en my pelvice like a period is about to start but know it has gone also. my appetite has also incressed lately i cant just miss a meal but i havent noticed any other pregnacy signs apart from an increase in my eating habbit

Hi and thanks for the query,

It could happen at times in the reproductive cycle of some women to have delayed periods. however, it is always appropriate to do a pregnancy test to rule out a pregnancy. Done too early with usual tests, the test might be negative not ruling out the possibility of a pregnancy.
In the case the periods do not come, it might be necessary to get the test done again, usually with blood samples to measure Beta HCG levels which is more sensitive and specific. An ultrasound might be needed to be very sure (transvaginal ultrasound).
For now, I think you could be patient and get the test done again in a weeks time in case you don not see your period. Your might need to consult your primary physician then.
