Delayed Periods, Nausea, Cramps, No Breast Tenderness, Loss Of Appetite. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Chances Of Being Pregnant?
My period hasn t come yet and I am ten days late. I have had stomach cramping and am nauseous. I randomly get stomach cramps and just today I started to cry for no reason. I do not have breast tenderness and eat my regular foods. I took a pregnancy test 4 days after my missed period and it came put negative. I have no desire to eat and lost my appetite . I m really nervous and I don t want to be pregnant. Should I be worried?
Hello
Of course you should not be worried. The sensitivity of pregnancy tests is nearly 98%. However I blood could be investigated to measure HCG level (Human chorionic gonadotropin, 0-10 - normal for non pregnant). You may need your gastrointestinal tract to be examined precisely but it would be also a good idea go to psychologist to talk about your fears. Your hormonal panel (FSH, LH, progesteron, prolactin, estrogen, etc.) should be also inspected to reveal some hormonal distubances as a course of irregular periods. Ultrasound should be also done (to reveal possible ovarian cysts).
Wish you Good Health
