Delayed Periods, Pregnancy Tests Negative. Had Slight Brown Discharge, Cramps, UTI. Reasons ?
I am 5 weeks late for my period. I usually have a 28-30 day cycle. I wasn't too worried when I missed my first, even after several negativce tests because I know this happens.I am now missing two. The first missed cycle I had brown discharge the night before My period was due. Now, I have slight cramps daily. And am experiencing a uti. I have had two d&c although I am now trying to conceive.
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The brown discharge you had could be scanty menstrual flow.
Anyhow better to consult gynecologist once, get examined, go for ultrasound and urine microscopy.
Repeated D&Cs can rarely lead to uterine adhesions sometimes that can lead to decreased menstrual flow.
By doing ultrasound along with this possibility other possibilities of delayed periods like poly cystic ovary disease etc. can be identified and treated.
