Hi,
there can be many causes for amenorrhea here. Its necessary to rule out all other causes for this like hormonal problems, and any pathology that may be causing this. You will need to see a doctor to rule out some conditions like cyst, hypothyroidism, prolactenemia. If all is normal then you will need medicines for withdrawal bleeding.Another important cause that may stop your periods is stress so i hope that is not the case.I suggest you see a gynaecologist for this.
Hi,
Thank u for ur reply... may i know the medicine for withdrawal bleeding? Please help me.. i came to US on October 16th and in November i got my period on correct date but after that i dint get it in December and still now i haven't got. Please help me by giving medicine name.
For withdrawal bleeding you will need to take hormones,progestin,10 mg twice a day for 5 days. You should get withdrawal bleeding within 7 -10 days. This is a prescription drug and you may not get it otc,esp in the US.
