Depression After Taking Amlodipine. Taking Keppra For Epilepsy. Danger After Stopping Medicine?

I was prescribed 2.5 mg amlodipine besylate about a year ago. I since lost 40 pounds and wondered if I needed the medicine anymore as I read one of the symptoms was depression and I had been a little depressed for some time but did not relate it to the medicine. I stopped the medicine on my own 10 days ago without tapering off. I am 75 years old and blood pressure is 107/69 without med. I also take Keppra for epilepsy. Should I be worried about stopping the medicine, so far I feel fine and is there anything I should do

Hi, you had B.P 107/69, with out medicine amlodepine 2.5mg. It some times happens that the reading will be low for few days say 10 days to 1 month, then it will appear to rise. some times it may not rise for quite some time.
So, go on chicking B.P every 15 days and it start rising you can start using the drug again. Thank you.
