Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to HCM

You are a 67 years old female with history of pulmonary embolism in family and currently on warferin 17.5 mg daily. You have also taken vilazodoe, escitaloprama and venlafexine for depression. Recently due to uncontrolled depressive symptoms you have been prescribed quitiapine upto 300 mg doses daily. Qutiapine is known to cause metabolic side effects and to some extent it can increase the risk of embolism. As per my opinion you should consult a Psychiatrist for expert helps. Other medicines you are taking dont affect the lipid metabolism and are safe so you can continue to take these medicines.

Hope this helps you, thanks
