Detected Sacroiliac Joint Problem In Lower Right Side Of Back, Severe Pain In Legs. MRI Shows No Problem In Back. Advice
Hi - I suffer from what I have been told is a sacroiliac joint problem which goes into my lower right side of the back. Mri says there is no problem with the back but the pain goes down the leg and if I put my leg up to dry on the bath I need to lift it down. I found last week my leg was giving way with this pain and I was walking on flat ground.
This is just to let you know that pain originating due to sacroiliac joint pathology seldom goes beyond the knee joint level. Whereas in case of Lumbar disc pathology, it will travel upto the ankle joints and even into toes.
You should avoid any movements that causes pain in the sacroiliac joints.
Consult an orthopedic surgeon and get treatment for your S.I.joint problem.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
