Developed Bubble In The Gum After Trauma, Gets Filled With Fluid That Stinks. What Is This ?
hi, i have had trauma to one of my front teeth in the past, about a year ago, i developed what felt like a bubble in my gum, i assumed it was an abscess , i finally waited for it to burst, and now in the same exact spot there is a hole in the gum and gets filled with fluid that stinks... Sometimes when i blow my nose , fluids come leaking out, i was wondering what this may be and what may be the cause and or solution to this problem? Thank you.

After reading your history i suspect your front tooth has undergone irreversible pulpitis , that is inflammation of the tooth nerve due to trauma.
heavy impact on the tooth damages the tooth nerve and leads to infection .
This infection from the tooth may spread to surrounding periondontal tissue via rooth apex and leads to abscess formation.
this pus stinks and drains through the gum opening as seen in your case.
i would suggest you to consult a dentist and get a x ray examination done followed by root canal treatment of the tooth to remove the infection and restore the gum health.
the procedure devitalises the tooth sets it pain free permanently.

The involved tooth has to be root-canal treated.
The pus accumulated has to be drained out thro'the access opening.
curettage and drainage of abscess has to be done.
Take complete course of antibiotics-analgesics prescribed by your dentist.

Welcome to the forum.
In the mouth, abscesses form in gum tissue or in the roots of teeth and in the surrounding areas of the tooth. They can be caused by trauma (food or debris embedded deep in the gum), by bacteria that enters through a cavity and gets into the dental pulp, or from a deep periodontal pocket.
If the abscess involves gum tissue, I suggest to rinse with warm salt water (1/8 of a teaspoon of salt in 8 ounces of water) a few times a day for several days.Take antibiotics to help make sure the infection has been eliminated. Have dental X-rays performed .

Your clinical history and symptoms suggest that you have developed a gum boil due to chemical trauma.
It this fluid filled structure is not treated in time it may undergo infection leading to formation of gingival abscess.
I would suggest you to get a clinical examination done by a Dentist.
The fluid filled sac can be surgically excised followed by the course of antibiotics and analgesics.
If the lesion is associated with the tooth, the tooth has to be identified with the help of IOPA x-ray and RCT has to be performed.

you have a dental cyst or an abecess which communicates which your sinus. u need dental treatment which mar range from a simple root canal, to a small surgical procedure
