Developed Red, Itching/burning Spot On Penis. Feeling Uncomfortable. Using Cortizone Cream And Neosporin. What To Do?

I have developed some sort of red, raw, itching/burning spot on my penis, just below the head; showed up a few days after a recent trip to FLorida. It doesn't seem to affect my normal genital processes, such as urination, but is uncomfortable to the touch. I have been treating with cortizone cream and neosporin alternately, and does seem to be slowly going away, but is still raw and uncomfortable to the touch.

Hi,

The symptoms you are describing sounds like you have a fungal infection. The fungal infection will cause you to get the itching that you are describing. To get treated for this you need to consult a dermatologist who will start you on antifungal medications. Since anti fungal drugs are controlled substances, you will not get them over the counter. You need to get consulted by a dermatologist. I hope this helps.
