Diabetic Suffering From Jaundice, Redness And Itching All Over Body. How To Treat It?

A friend who is 21 yrs old has jaundice, redness and itching all over her body. She is getting an MRI right now. She has had this for 8 days, and the drs. still don't know what is wrong. She is a diabetic. What do you think? Apparently she tried a type of alcohol on the preceding Saturday night that she had never tried before. She awoke on Sunday a.m. and her skin looked like it was sunburned. I believe the itching began a few days later .

Good day!
Jaundice with itching means biliary tract is blocked and taking that strange alcohol might be the reason for the hepatitis and inflammation resulting in blockage of the drainage. Seek the Hepatobiliary surgeons, they will decide what to do and what not to.
