Diabetic, Underactive Thyroid, Tumor In Liver, High BP. Heart Issues. Need A Stent. What Is It?

Ihave a heart derect i was told by a doctor at Kings college hospital that i may need to havw a stem what is it and what is it for. I also have type 2 diabetes, undreactive thyroid glands,high blood pressure and a tumour of the liver. I have had radio frequency i cant remember the word for it but they sat they managed to burn most of the tumour away.

I am sorry to say that there appears spelling mistakes in your question and it is not clear what heart problem you have.
A stent is a small hollow spring like structure which is used to make blocked blood vessels (arteries) of heart patent. We can first open a blockage by balloon and then to stabilize it we put a stent or we can directly place a stent in blockage. This helps in preventing re-blockade at same site. Mostly it is advised in patients with a blockage> 70% and having symptoms because of this blockage (anginal pain, shortness of breath etc).
