Diagnosed For Pulmonary Fibrosis (COPD, Over Weight. Calorie Intake Is As Per Recommendation. Weight Loss?
5 years ago I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis (COPD) short for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. A condition that restricts shortness of breath following exertion, and was wrongly advised to take a more sedentary lifestyle. Consequently I went from very active 154 lb to 210 lb fat couch potato !
18 months ago I began a cardio fitness regime to assist the breathing condition and to lose the extra weight.
I am currently down to 176 lb. But have lost quite a lot of muscle along the way, leaving a lot of body fat?
However, I am now more concerned with losing this body fat rather than the weight.
My diet is pretty healthy, with carbs and calorie intake well below the recommendations
