I am a 59year old caucasion female. I quit smoking 6 days ago mostly because I was diagnosed with copd. For the last several days, my energy level has been at -0. Last night I noticed that the fourth and fifth toes of my left foot had kind of an icy sensation although they were normal to touch, but this didn't last very long. It happened again tonight and has persisted. I went to bed at approx. 10:30 tonight and although I somewhat fell aslleep, I kept having this sensation of a kink or charlie horse in my chest. It basically aroused me from sleep and although it is only pretty dull right now, I can't go back to sleep. And the feeling in my two toes is still there. I was somewhat concerned that the two might be linked. I did take a 81 mg ASA about 30 minutes ago because thoughts of possible heart attack keeps running through my head. I'm aware that symptoms of a heart attack for women are sometimes different than that of men. Any thoughts?
