Diagnosed With GBS, Had Taken Vaccination, No Symptoms. GBS Process Would Have Started Before Vaccination?
Hello,
I writing you to find out some information on GBS. I was in the U.S. Navy (1988 -1991) and throughout the course of three years I received all the vaccinations for all the diseases around the world during travels. During this time I became very healthy and was in the greatest shape of my life. I was never sick. I bulked up lifting weights by almost half my weight. When I got out of the Navy 8 months later I was diagnosed with GBS. I was in the hospital for almost 18 months. My question to you is: Could the starting process of GBS have been after I received the vaccinations while in the Navy? I was never sick so I never went to the doctor not did I get and shots or take any medicine after I had gotten out of the Navy.
I know that happened to me over 20 years ago, I just wanted to bring closure to a wanted question/thought.

GBS (Gullian Barre Syndrome) is a auto immune disorder.
Possibilty of starting this problem could be before and after giving the vaccine, difficult to ascertain.
Usually this disease is preceded by some type viral /Bacterial infection.
