I was diagnosed with IBS 20 years ago (I am 44) and since then have not been able to find the cause of my symptoms, which now involve loose, mushy stools and excessive flatulence. I recently tested negative for coeliac disease but know that I have issues with refined wheat products. What I would really like to know is whether it is worth being tested for H-pylori bacteria, as my symptoms seem to be worsening and I read someone else say they had back pain with their h-pylori symptoms, which I also have...
