Hi,
diagnosis of a urinary tract infection during pregnancy is an indication of treatment. About 7 % of women have asymptomatic bacterial infections. the risk is these women can develop kidney infections which are important risk factors for the mothers first for she can get into a state of septicemia and septic shock and the risk of having an abortion is also raised.
Doing a urine culture and antiobiotic sensitivity tests to treat this infection is important. I suggest you visit your gynecologist for advise and examination.
Thanks and hope this helps,
Luchuo, MD.
