Diagnosed With Lbbb, Advised BP Medicines. ECHO, ECG, EKG, Blood Test Normal. Should Stress Echo Be Done Immediately?

hi my father is diagnosed with lbbb and no under lying pathology revealed..doctors tested him with blood test , echo , ecg ekg and cholestrol is normal and given medication for bp as he is showin bp around 135 /95..but in echo his heart eficency is only 45 percent and doctor askd us to use medication for bp so that stress on the heart will b decreased...do you suggest us to go for stress echo immediately.person age is 63 and no habbits,no chest pain ,he can walk for 5km and easily can climb stairs...lbbb was revealed by regular routinue examination i.e ekg for the first time...doctor didnt advise us for stress why

Hi,
LBBB can be a mild disease because of no reasons many times. In very few people it is because of some underlying pathology.
Coronary artery disease also can cause LBBB. It is better to rule out coronary ischemia by doing TMT/ stress echo.
If required doctor may suggest for an angiogram also.
Considering his age and hypertension it is better to investigate further.
