Diagnosed With Pulmonary Tuberculosis Sequelae. What Does It Imply And How Serious Is This?
HI... Did a chest x ray for my dad...the report says, small nodules & firbroitic strands seen inth eright upper zone. fribriotic strands seen in left upper zone.
inference: pulmonary tuberculosis sequelc... what does that mean. and how serious is it?
Hi, It means the fibrosis and nodules in lungs currently seen are a result of old healed TB. Sequelea normally remain permanent and there should not be any worry as there is no active TB at present. However it is better to get a clinical evaluation from a Pulmonologist done for the overall picture to be clearer. Regards Dr Mishra
