Diagnosed With Alopecia Areata. Had Shingles. Always Tired, Facial Puffiness, Allergies. Which DR Should We Consult To Get A Complete Check On Him?

My son is 22 years old and was diagnosed with alopecia areata four years ago. I think that he may have other health issues related to the source of his alopecia. Three months age he got shingles. He is always tired at times has facial puffiness and ongoing acid reflux indigestion as well as seasonal allergies. What kind of physician should he see as he has outgrown a pediatrician. I want a complete health and immunological evaluation performed on him. Guidance??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Dermatologist and physician ( allergy testing) will help you.
Puffiness over face may be due to allergy or also due to renal problems .
Please get in blood examination for serum creatinine and urea , if both tests normal then contact above mentioned specialist .
Good luck.
