Diagnosed With Anemia. Have Inflammation In Body, Diarrhea, Fatigue, Abdomen Pain, Done CT Scan, Fever With Night Sweats
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic ESR or erythrocyte sedimentation rate checks for non specific inflammation. An increased ESR is indicative of inflammation/infection but it does not specify where the problem is located. Fever and night sweats can occur in infections such as TB but can also occur in other conditions such as leukemia and lymphoma, among others. The CT scan would determine if there are any lesions in the abdomen or pelvis that may be contributing to your symptoms. I hope this helps
